Isolation fear over PIP criteria
People with disabilities face becoming more isolated when Personal Independence Payment (PIP) replaces Disability Living Allowance. PIP criteria means 42 per cent of those who previously qualified for adapted vehicles or help towards cab fares to get, for example, to their GP or work, will no longer do so.

Big Society dead say charities
David Cameron’s Big Society project is dead because of the Government’s swingeing cuts and failure to consult on major policy issues, according to the Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations, which argues that the vulnerable people for whom its members care are being worst affected by the Coalition’s policies.
