Campaign for change

Although much has been achieved since Fibromyalgia Trust was founded in 2012, there is still a lack of understanding of the illness.

We campaign for the widespread recognition of FMS, better services and support and more research into the causes, faster diagnosis and more effective treatment.

Our current Act Now campaign aims to end the ignorance, injustice and neglect of FMS, once and for all. It ties in with other current campaigns that reflect the issues of the day.

The need for campaigning will remain until our mission has been achieved and FMS has been overcome.

In addition to raising awareness through press campaigns, we work with policy makers and practitioners.

Our priorities are: health, welfare, research, employment, social care, education and the best interests of carers.
